Lisa Robinson Howeler is a documentary photographer from northeastern Pennsylvania within a four hour drive from New York City and Philadelphia. Her documentary work focuses on family relationships and basic, universal human interactions.
Her main "job" is as a mom and wife. She is also a writer who likes to get to the heart of the matter. She writes on her blog Boondock Ramblings about real life moments, the good and the ugly, because life is messy but also fun and full of opportunities for joy.
In her personal and professional life she photographs real moments, real feelings and real stories because she knows that when the children are grown and the house is empty it’s those real, raw moments people truly want to remember.
She serves the areas surrounding Ithaca, Corning, and Binghamton NY, and other areas of northeastern Pennsylvania.
